Dr. Jeff soparlo B.Sc., D.d.s., M.D., M.Sc., F.R.C.D.(C) 

Dr. Jeff Soparlo is a board-certified specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 2015. Following his dental training, he moved to London, Ontario where he and his family spent 8 years. During this time he completed a General Practice Residency at the London Health Sciences Centre and obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree and Master of Science at Western University. Jeff completed his six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2022. His interest in continued education then took him to Melbourne, Australia, where he completed a fellowship in Craniofacial Trauma and Orthognathic Surgery under the supervision of A/Prof Alf Nastri, Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. 

Dr. Soparlo is passionate about growing the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a clinical lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (CAOMS) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Dr. Soparlo prides himself on providing excellent patient focused care and taking the time to get to know his patients. He is affectionately known in the clinic as “Just Jeff,” as his prefers that his colleagues, clinic team, and patients call him by his first name. 

In his time outside of the clinic, Jeff enjoys running, snowboarding, playing hockey, golf and exploring local businesses. His favorite activities are shared with his wife and three children.
